2010 IARU HF Championship antennas

Another look up at the Spiderbeam from the side of the house.  You can see the center of the 40/30m dipole in the picture also.  The beam will eventually be ~35ft high.

You can see the vertical sprouting out the top of this tree in my back yard.  This will eventually be a full size 1/4 wave vertical, with an inverted L for 160 (70ft vertical).

I bolted my 40m vertical from Key West to the tree trunk to get the top up 55ft or so just for the IARU contest.  A wire runs down from this point (above an insulator) to the ground.

Vertical antenna feed point.  I used 8 1/4 wave radials for the IARU contest.  I will start burying them in the grass so the lawn maintenance dudes don't mash them up - and add a few dozen more eventually, before winter.
