They requested to finish their lunch of crackers and water, and we complied. These four were very cooperative, friendly, and bragged about the construction of their raft. This was definitely not their first try!

Two Station 33ft boats and Pea Island's small boat stands off American Shoal light. You can see eight migrants that made it on the light structure. Unfortunately for them, this doesn't count as "dry foot".

After several hours of peaceful negotiation, the migrants decided to give up and climbed down to us. We hooked them up with food, water, and a shower before transferring them to another cutter for interviews and repatriation processing.
